Hinduism is the Only Dharma

Hinduism is the Only Dharma in this multiverse comprising of Science & Quantum Physics.

Josh Schrei helped me understand G-O-D (Generator-Operator-Destroyer) concept of the divine that is so pervasive in the Vedic tradition/experience. Quantum Theology by Diarmuid O'Murchu and Josh Schrei article compliments the spiritual implications of the new physics. Thanks so much Josh Schrei.

One sentence of the Bhagavad Gita, is worth the State of Massachusetts many times over

~ Henry David Thoreau (American Historian, Critic and Philosopher):
"In the morning I bathe my intellect in the stupendous and cosmogonal philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita in comparison with which our modern world and its literature seems puny and trivial."

"Most books belong to the house and streets only...But this (Bhagavad Gita) . . addresses what is deepest and most abiding in man. . . . Its truth speaks freshly to our experience.. the sentences are filled with depth and serenity and I am sure they will have a place and significance as long as there is a sky to test them by."

"One sentence of the Bhagavad Gita, is worth the State of Massachusetts many times over."

~Albert Einstein: "When I read the Bhagavad-Gita and reflect about how God created this universe everything else seems so superfluous."

~Aldous Huxley: "The Bhagavad-Gita is the most systematic statement of spiritual evolution of endowing value to mankind. It is one of the most clear and comprehensive summaries of perennial philosophy ever revealed; hence its enduring value is subject not only to India but to all of humanity."

Tina ૐ Sadhwani ‎"I owed a magnificent day to the Bhagavad-Gita. It was as if an empire spoke to us, nothing small or unworthy, but large, serene, consistent, the voice of an old intelligence which in another age and climate had pondered and thus disposed of the same questions which exercise us."
~Ralph Waldo Emerson (Philosopher)

Maxim Garg The juxtaposition of Western civilization's most terrifying scientific achievement with the most dazzling description of the mystical experience given to us by the Bhagavad Gita, India's greatest literary monument. - robert oppenheimer

Gurushankar Swaminathan Every Muslim household has a Quran, every Xtian household has a Bible but how many Hindu homes have a Bhagavad Gita? You will find a bunch of books on slokas & prayers & methods of rituals for festivals but NO Bhagavad Gita. Let us all do out 2 cents in our families & communities to change this.

Charu Arora Srivastava My favorite verse is the one where Krshna explains how things come into being even though I don't entirely get it. I also like the one where he says a wise man can drink from anywhere. There are so many good ones though that it is hard to pick one. Bhagavad Gita is rich with knowledge for those who are ready to receive.

India has been known as the moksha-bhumi and karma-bhoomi, the Land of Liberty, spiritual and temporal, gained through service of fellowmen

India has been known as the moksha-bhumi and karma-bhoomi, the Land of Liberty, spiritual and temporal, gained through service of fellowmen

India was called the Bharat Varsha, the country that embraces all in one bond, and she was selected to become the embodiment of that immutable, eternal, law of the universe, Santana Dharma - dharma is that which "holds together" - which makes the universes run in their orbits. It was this principle of dharma, synthesis, balance, harmonious relationship between various forces and factors, between various individuals and groups, that came to be the corner-stone of her civilization.

India has been known as the moksha-bhumi and karma-bhoomi, the Land of Liberty, spiritual and temporal, gained through service of fellowmen. India was not thought of as a bhoga bhumi, a pleasure-resort for a single life-time. India is the only country in the world where civilization has revolved round this fundamental spiritual nucleus...
~Kenwal Motwani

"The soul of the world is in danger. It is a banal truth to write but, nevertheless, it ought to be ceaselessly repeated. When we seek in the buried centuries for vestiges of these columns of glory, a name among others, emerges: INDIA. It is a fact, whether we wish to accept it or not, that India is the mother of all of us. She has given us everything: religion, philosophy, science, art. All that has been truly great, noble and generous, throughout the ages has come from India. At this moment when a hurricane of violence and hate is raging across the world, and will rage still more through the world of the future, making the very frame-work of our civilization crack, at this moment when intellectual and moral values are being trampled upon by the hordes of egotism, brutality and lying, let us go together, towards India from whom we can learn so much."
~Louis Revel

Charu Arora Srivastava Bhagavad Gita is a concise guide to Hindu theology and also as a practical, self-contained guide to life. It represents a summary of the Vedantic and Upanishadic teachings, it is also called "Veda of the Vedas" and "the Upanishad of the Upanishads". Lord Krishna states that the knowledge of Yoga contained in the Gita was first instructed to mankind at the very beginning of their existence as he is the first Purusha the Universe has ever Known.

The main philosophical subject matter of the Bhagavad Gita is the explanation of five basic concepts or "truths":

Ishvara (The Supreme Controller)
Jiva (Living beings/the individualized soul)
Prakrti (Nature/Matter)
Dharma (Duty in accordance with Divine law)
Kaala (Time)

ACHARYA BHARADWAJ (800 BCE) PIONEER OF AVIATION TECHNOLOGY

ACHARYA BHARADWAJ (800 BCE) PIONEER OF AVIATION TECHNOLOGY

Acharya Bharadwaj had a hermitage in the holy city of Prayag and was an ardent apostle of Ayurveda and mechanical sciences. He authored the "Yantra Sarvasva" which includes astonishing and outstanding discoveries in aviation science, space science and flying machines.

He has described three categories of flying machines:
1.) One that flies on earth from one place to another.
2.) One that travels from one planet to another.
3.) And One that travels from one universe to another. His designs and descriptions have impressed and amazed aviation engineers of today. His brilliance in aviation technology is further reflected through techniques described by him:

1.) Profound Secret: The technique to make a flying machine invisible through the application of sunlight and wind force.
2.) Living Secret: The technique to make an invisible space machine visible through the application of electrical force.
3.) Secret of Eavesdropping: The technique to listen to a conversation in another plane.
4.) Visual Secrets: The technique to see what's happening inside another plane.
Through his innovative and brilliant discoveries, Acharya Bharadwaj has been recognized as the pioneer of aviation technology.

Tina ૐ Sadhwani “The ancient Indians could navigate the air, and not only navigate it but fight battles in it like so many war-eagles, combating for the domination of the clouds. To be so perfect in aeronautics they must have known all the arts and sciences relating to the science, including the strata and currents of the atmosphere, the relative temperature, humidity, density and specific gravity of the various gases....." - Col. Olcott in a lecture in Allahabad in 1881.

Tina ૐ Sadhwani ‎""These ancient Indian texts on Vimanas are so numerous, it would take volumes to relate what they had to say. The ancient Indians, who manufactured these ships themselves, wrote entire flight manuals on the control of the various types of Vi...manas, many of which are still in existence, and some have even been translated into English. The Samaraanganasutraadhaara is a scientific treatise dealing with every possible angle of air travel in a Vimana.

There are 230 stanzas dealing with the construction, take-off, cruising for thousand of miles, normal and forced landings, and even possible collisions with birds. The Vaimanika Sastra also includes information on steering, precautions for long flights, protection of the airships from storms and lightning and how to switch the drive to "solar energy" from a free energy source which sounds like "anti-gravity.

Like it or not, the Vedic cosmological treatises are loaded with references to aircraft and devastating weapons. There is no way to ignore the plain fact. Yet, most Indology experts have managed to do just that. How do you overlook or trivialize these innumerable descriptions? It is impossible to escape them unless your mind is already made up to reject them. Discard them you must, because mainstream academia will not consider that humans in remote antiquity could have been advanced – not to mention expert – in a technology far more subtle than the crudities we are proud of today."

Rishabh Singhvi And the west takes the entire credit claiming to discover/ invent somethin already known and recorded by the vedas.

"The Vedic civilization is perhaps the oldest continuous living tradition in the world. Its extremely ancient doctrines and insights into human spirituality are unsurpassed. We might expect that its cosmology and science of time has been as misunderstood as its true antiquity. In looking closely at Vedic doctrines of time, spiritual growth, cosmology, calendars, and astronomy, we will see that a central core idea is that of our periodic alignment to the Galactic Center. And, according to these ancient Vedic beliefs, the galactic alignment we are currently experiencing heralds our shift from a millennia-long descent of deepening spiritual darkness (kalyug) to a new era of light and ascending consciousness (satyug). "

~John Major Jenkins (RESEARCHER OF ANCIENT COSMOLOGY)

"Feuerstein, Frawley, and Kak have shown conclusively (In Search of the Cradle of Civilization) that the long-accepted age of the Vedic culture—erroneously dated by scholars parading a series of assumptions and unscientific arguments to roughly 1500 BC—is much too recent. Evidence comes from geological, archaeological, and literary sources as well as the astronomical references within Vedic literature... establishing the Vedic Race as the "cradle of civilization" dating it much before 10,000 B.C."

Regardless of whether we are currently Hindu, Muslim, Christian or Jew, etc. our ancient forefathers were all members of a common, unified, global Vedic Heritage.

GLOBAL IMPACT AND INFLUENCE OF VEDIC WISDOM

GLOBAL IMPACT AND INFLUENCE OF VEDIC WISDOM:

Vedic knowledge is the progenitor and foundational source of all basic and current theories in Physics, Philosophy, Psychology, Cosmology, Psychophysiology, Astronomy, Metaphysics, Avionics, etc.

VEDAS, QUANTUM PHYSICS AND COSMOLOGY:

Robert Oppenheimer (PHYSICIST):
"The general notions about human understanding… which are illustrated by discoveries in atomic physics are not in the nature of things wholly unfamiliar, wholly unheard of or new. In Hindu thought they have a more considerable and 'central' place. What we shall find in modern physics is an exemplification, an encouragement, and a refinement of old Hindu wisdom."

Alan Watts (PHILOSOPHER):
"To the philosophers of India, the scientific theory of Relativity is no new discovery. Yet it is, indeed, a remarkable circumstance that when Western civilization discovers Relativity it applies it to the manufacture of atom-bombs, whereas Eastern civilization applies it to the development of new states of consciousness."

Werner Heisenberg (FATHER OF QUANTUM PHYSICS, Nobel Prize winner): "After the conversations about Indian Philosophy, some of the ideas of Quantum Physics that had seemed so crazy suddenly made much more sense."

Erwin Schrödinger (PHYSICIST), awarded the Nobel prize in Quantum Mechanics, in 1933. He said.. "The unity and continuity of "Vedanta" are reflected in the unity and continuity of wave mechanics. In 1925, the world view of physics was a model of a great machine composed of separable interacting material particles. During the next few years, Schrodinger and Heisenberg and their followers created a universe based on super imposed inseparable waves of probability amplitudes. This new view would be entirely consistent with the Vedantic (Veda) concept of All in One."

Brian David Josephson (PHYSICIST, Nobel Laureate): "The Vedanta and the Samkhya hold the key to the laws of the mind and thought process which are correlated to the Quantum Field, i.e the operation and distribution of particles at atomic and molecular levels."

Dick Teresi (RESEARCHER): "Indian cosmologists were the first to estimate the age of the earth at more than 4 billion years. They came closest to modern ideas of atomism, quantum physics, and other current theories. India developed very early, enduring atomist theories of matter. Possibly Greek atomistic thought was influenced by India, via the Persian civilization."

Dr. Carl Sagan (ASTROPHYSICIST):
"The Hindu religion is the only one of the world's great faiths dedicated to the idea that the Cosmos itself undergoes an immense, indeed an infinite, number of deaths and rebirths. It is the only religion in which the time scales correspond, to those of modern scientific cosmology. Its cycles run from our ordinary day and night to a day and night of Brahma, 8.64 billion years long. Longer than the age of the Earth or the Sun and about half the time since the Big Bang. And there are much longer time scales still."

Voltaire (PHILOSOPHER): "The Veda was the most precious gift for which the West had ever been indebted to the East"

Paul Deussen (PHILOSOPHER AND SANSKRIT SCHOLAR):
"Whatever may be the discoveries of the scientific mind, none can dispute the eternal truths propounded by the Upanishads. Though they may appear as riddles, the key to solving them lies in our heart and if one were to approach them with an open mind one could secure the treasure as did the Rishis of ancient times"

The field of "PSYCHOLOGY" is based on the concept of the "Unconscious" provided by Sigmund Freud and the "Collective Unconscious (ATMAN)" provided by Carl Jung. Freud adopted the idea of unconscious from Arthur Schopenhauer and Arthur learnt these concepts from the "Upanishads". Carl Jung's concepts were influenced by Vedanta and Vedic Philosophy.

T.S Eliot: "Indian Philosophers' subtleties make most of the great European philosophers look like schoolboys."

Lin Yutang (CHINESE SCHOLAR):
"India was China's teacher in religion and imaginative literature, and the world's teacher in trignometry, quandratic equations, grammar, phonetics, arabian nights, animal fables, chess, as well as in philosophy, and that she inspired Boccaccio, Goethe, Herder, Schopenhauer, Emerson, and probably also old Aesop."

Dr. D. T. Suzuki (JAPANESE/ZEN SCHOLAR):
"The study of Japanese thought is the study of Indian thought."

Suharto Sukarno (FIRST PRESIDENT OF INDONESIA):

"In the veins of every one of my people flows the blood of Indian ancestors and the culture that we possess is steeped through and through with Indian influences. Two thousand years ago people from your country came to Jawadvipa and Suvarnadvipa in the spirit of brotherly love."

VEDAS represent the eternal truth, expressed in the most purest form- The soul of Bharatiya sanskriti dwells in the Vedas

VEDAS represent the eternal truth, expressed in the most purest form- The soul of Bharatiya sanskriti dwells in the Vedas

VEDAS are not a set of books. They are a cosmic matrix of fundamental knowledge, embedded in the very fabric of existence, echoing the scientific and spiritual laws of the universe that was revealed to and cognized by the ancient Vedic rishis in their advanced states of consciousness.

They represent the eternal truth, expressed in the most purest form.

Vedic knowledge is in fact universal and applies to the entire mankind. The word “VEDA” means Knowledge. Vedas include not only spiritual knowledge, but also fundamental volumes of information on Science, Architecture, Avionics, Astrobiology, Astronomy, Atomic Physics, Chronometry, Dietetics, Embryology, Gastroenterology, Health Sciences, Metallurgy, Meteorology, Psychophysiology, Science of warfare, Sociology etc.

Robert Oppenheimer (PHYSICIST):

"Access to the Vedas is the greatest privilege this century may claim over all previous centuries. The general notions about human understanding… which are illustrated by discoveries in atomic physics are not in the nature of things wholly unfamiliar, wholly unheard of or new. In Hindu thought they have a more considerable and central place. What we shall find [in modern physics] is an exemplification, an encouragement, and a refinement of old Hindu wisdom."

Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam (FORMER PRESIDENT OF INDIA): "Vedas are the most precious treasures of India. The soul of Bharatiya sanskriti dwells in the Vedas. The entire world admits the importance of the Vedas."

Henry David Thoreau (AMERICAN PHILOSOPHER, SOCIAL CRITIC):
"Whenever I have read any part of the Vedas, I have felt that some unearthly and unknown light illuminated me. In the great teaching of the Vedas, there is no touch of sectarianism. It is of all ages, climes and nationalities and is the royal road for the attainment of the Great Knowledge."

Ralph Waldo Emerson (AUTHOR, UNITARIAN MINISTER):
"The Vedas haunt me. In them I have found eternal compensation, unfathomable power, unbroken peace."

Tina ૐ Sadhwani ‎"What extracts from the Vedas I have read fall on me like the light of a higher and purer luminary, which describes a loftier course through purer stratum. It rises on me like the full moon after the stars have come out, wading through some far stratum in the sky."

"Whenever I have read any part of the Vedas, I have felt that some unearthly and unknown light illuminated me. In the great teaching of the Vedas, there is no touch of sectarianism. It is of all ages, climes and nationalities and is the royal road for the attainment of the Great Knowledge."

The Indian concept is-- SANATANA DHARMA- "Cosmic Balance and Eternal-Universal Righteousness"

The Indian concept is-- SANATANA DHARMA- "Cosmic Balance and Eternal-Universal Righteousness".

Religion is a western concept. The Indian concept is neither religion, nor hinduism, nor any 'ism'.

The Indian concept is-- SANATANA DHARMA- "Cosmic Balance and Eternal-Universal Righteousness".

The key concept of Dharma is an integrative concept. At its noblest, it combines harmony with the universe, self-fulfillment and truth of the self with the ideas of action as duty, action as its own spiritual reward and man as the holy vessel.

Hence the true Vedantic spirit, which is the most rational and humanist principle, does not impose a system of beliefs. It surpasses all religious dogma and cultural limitations.

It possesses absolute liberty and unrivalled courage with regard to the facts to be observed and actions to be performed.

And...never having been hampered by a priestly order, every man in India has always been entirely free to search wherever he pleased for the spiritual explanation of the spectacle of the universe.
