Hinduism is the Only Dharma

Hinduism is the Only Dharma in this multiverse comprising of Science & Quantum Physics.

Josh Schrei helped me understand G-O-D (Generator-Operator-Destroyer) concept of the divine that is so pervasive in the Vedic tradition/experience. Quantum Theology by Diarmuid O'Murchu and Josh Schrei article compliments the spiritual implications of the new physics. Thanks so much Josh Schrei.

Ancient and current Economics - An analysis

Ancient and current Economics - An analysis

Current Economics - The new cycle of economics starts slowly with desires but moves much faster towards the finances to fulfill the desires. More the finances, more the desires and again more craving for more finances. In this cycle, in order to fulfill the desires, a person generally uses unethical means and hence the society degrades itself ...gradually. UPA-2 is the proof of it more scams are being exposed day by day.
The latest economic revolves as:

Desires --> Resources (finance) --> Desires --> ... continues

Ancient Economics - Ancient cycle of economics (as described in Manusmriti) starts with desires, but before it reaches finances level, it meets with (Dharma). So, before earning something, a person has to check whether the activity of earning is right as per Dharma or not. Even after Dharma permit someone to earn money or resources, the cycle reaches the fourth point of 'Moksha' (as a desire in subconscious mind). This means even if a person has the resources in abundance to spend for desires, even then these will not be spent on unlawful and unethical desires.
So, the ancient Manusmriti economic cycle revolves as
Desires --> Dharma --> Resources (finance) --> Moksha (in subconscious mind)--> Desires --> ..... continues

The current economics is about 'अर्थ' (finances) and 'काम' (desires) and the ancient economics considered two other parameters 'धर्म' (Attributes of Dharma) and 'मोक्ष' (Salvation) along with.

Ancient Indian Economic cycle was scientifically drafted to ensure the welfare of all and the society at large. We also need such economic cycle so that we prosper as a nation and also bridge the mountainous gap between 'Haves' and 'Haves not'.

Amal Gupta Good analysis. I would try to rephrase a little differently.
First, in the animal world there is no "Aham", the sense of "I". Animals act according to a built-in intelligence with just two objectives 1) Survive 2) Extend their spices. So, they eat, they keep themselves away from dangers to survive, and they procreate. That's all.... as shown below:

Survive & extend their species
|
|
v
By means of built in actions
(eat, survive, procreate)

In human, the "Aham" or "I" sense first appears, that allows humans to think and set there own activities. They act now not by their built-in intelligence. "I" sense brings in desire, sense of more and better, that leads to "Artha" and "Kama", and ultimately motivates them to think what this life is all about. They learn in every step of this evolutionary cycle, come up with new methods of survival, new methods of enjoyment, leading ultimately as to how they should behave, rules and regulations in the society and set of "Dharma" is born to keep the Desire, Artha, Kama under control, so that they are able to think more and progress toward that ultimate goal, Moksha, as shown below:

Desire ("Aham" or "I" sense)
|
|
v
Artha, Kama <======= Dharma (Controlling factor)
|
|
v
Ultimate goal
(Realization or Moksha)

Amal Gupta Continuing my previous comment .....In this mechanism, the Desire, Artha, Kama, Dharma etc. are the natural elements of a SELF REGULATING MECHANISM so to speak. If the controlling factor "Dharma" is reduced for any reason whatsoever, obviously the cycle of Desire --- Artha--- Kama will become predominant and out of control, and the society will be in trouble, in chaos. And then the Nature automatically brings in a controlling factor, a personality, a spiritual leader, a prophet, or an Avatar so to speak to reestablish the control and bring back the system to stability again, as Krishna declares in the Bhagavad-Gita. And the cycle goes on and on for ever....
