Matrimonial disputes---IPC 498A, IPC56 (B, C)--liberated housewife, decides to play The Abused Housewife in the Indian courts

Shibu dubai says....

In any matrimonial disputes among the NRIs, the trouble starts once the innocent Gaunvali Bibi manages to get a job. The wealth accumulated from that point onwards becomes 'My Income and Your Income'. Until then, it is family wealth.

Once the lady gets a job, her simple arithmatical mind, gets liberated, and the real pressure starts coming from her parents and relatives, the comforts delivered by Petro-dollar becomes too dear to be untapped for the girls parents, and thus the matter gets worse. Once the matter reaches a boiling point, tussels begin, and suddenly the liberated housewife, decides to play The Abused Housewife in the Indian courts.

To make matters worse the girls previliged parents decide to meet Lawyers and the Lawyers fill them with a concentrated syrup of IPC 498A, IPC56 (B, C) Etc. This virtually, in slapped onto the Husbands's frail and old mother as well to hit him harder.

Finally the Liberated women manages to get the most from the Indian Women organisations, and a good sum of money as compensation, enough to enjoy and to get her going during old age. As far as her parents are concerned, they milk her at the cost of their own grandchildrens joy.

A mammoth Mahabharata series begins admirably

M. Veerappa Moily is Union law minister THE MAHABHARATA: Volume 1 Translated by BIBEK DEBROY Penguin Pages: 536 Rs 550

THE Mahabharata, together with the Ramayana, is one of the greatest stories ever told.
These two epics have influenced norms, values and culture not just in India, but elsewhere in Southeast Asia too. Hinduism is difficult to pinpoint and define. Nor is Hinduism only manifested in Sanskrit texts, a point Wendy Doniger makes in her recent The Hindus: An Alternative History (2009). The Sanskrit corpus itself is huge, spanning the Vedas, Vedanta, Vedangas, Smritis, Puranas and the Dharmashastras, not to speak of classical Sanskrit literature. However, popular attitudes are often shaped not by the Vedanta literature, or even the Gita, and the speculations of religious philosophers, but by the stories recounted in the two epics and the Puranas. It is said that even before Valmiki could pen his Ramayana in Sanskrit, many folk Ramayanas had been orally passed from one generation to the next. The imagery of the Ramayana and the Mahabharata recurs in our everyday life and jargon.

The Valmiki Ramayana, thus, isn't the only Ramayana. I myself have written an epic poem Sree Ramayana Mahanveshanam in Kannada, which has now been translated into English and other languages. If we wish to communicate our history, myths and culture to the rest of the world, English naturally becomes the medium. It is easy to blame westerners for having got the nuances wrong, but the appropriate response would be for us Indians to do the rendering, instead of waiting for modern-day Max Muellers.

The Sanskrit Valmiki Ramayana now has an authenticated and critical edition, brought out by the Oriental Institute in Baroda. And the Vedavyasa Mahabharata too has an authenticated and critical edition, brought out by the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute in Pune.

It is somewhat surprising that English translations of these texts are not yet available. Abridged translations often fail to capture the nuances and the emotions of all the characters.

An unabridged translation of the Mahabharata is therefore welcome and it is surprising that Bibek Debroy, who is known more as an economist (though I have personally known him as one interested in law reform), should have embarked on this venture. It is another matter that he has already translated the Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas and the Gita.

This is the first of 10 volumes and covers the period from the beginning to the Pandavas' obtaining their share of the kingdom. Volume 1 thus covers most of Adi Parva and runs into almost 500 pages. From this, one can gauge the size of the entire Mahabharata and the scope of the endeavour Debroy has embarked on. There is also an excellent introduction that sets the background.

We all have our favourite version of the Mahabharata, translated into English in unabridged form. For many of my generation, Rajaji's versions of both the Ramayana and the Mahabharata must figure on that list, because of easy-to-read English. Debroy's translation is easy and smooth as well, compared with the 19th century translations of K.M. Ganguli and M.N. Dutt (which predated Bhan darkar's Critical Edition) or even the half-complete University of Chicago version (which was based on Bhandarkar). I only hope Debroy can speed up his translation, so that we do not have to wait five years for all of the 10 volumes to be available.

There seems to be a resurgence of interest in the epics. Gurcharan Das authored a book based on the Mahabharata. There is the Clay series, based on vernacular versions of the Mahabharata, now funded by N.R. Narayana Murthy. There has been my effort as well as the present one by Debroy. I am not sure why this should suddenly happen.

Although the Ramayana and the Mahabharata have always been of interest, much before the TV serials happened, the last time there was this great enthusiasm seems to have been in the second half of the 19th century. Nor is it obvious to me why there should be this interest on the part of those who are not quite run-of-the-mill Indologists or Sanskrit scholars.

Whatever be the reason, an accurate rendering of our history and culture is welcome, because it neutralises attempts by right-wing fundamentalist groups to hijack what they perceive to be their version of Hinduism. When we scan the Vedas and epics like the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, we find a thread of secular ethos.

In fact, even the Sapta Rishis who composed the Vedas and the authors of Ramayana and Mahabharata do not belong to the Brahmin varna. They actually belong to Shudra and the lower classes of the society. It is a paradox that we find a reversal of secular ethos to the detrimental of the philosophy of unity in diversity.

According to the poet A.K. Ramanujan, a translator has to obey three sets of conflicting allegiances: to the reader, to the culture of the original text and to the text's historical context or tradition.

Debroy, in his acknowledgment and introduction, says, "Most people thought I was mad, even if they never quite said that." I had a similar feeling when I embarked upon Sree Ramayana Mahanveshanam, which is my own version of the Ramayana. On venturing into the voluminous poem, I felt like being in the midst of a dark ocean the shore of which I would not find. Having gained confidence, I have now started another epic poem, on Draupadi, called Sreemudi Parikramanam. All big ideas will find their own destiny. Hence I am confident that the journey undertaken by Debroy in translating the other parvas will find a happy climax.

Initially, I was surprised that a creative writer like Debroy had ventured upon a translation of epic dimensions.

It requires absolute concentration, discipline and restraint. Having read his book, I must say that the author has conformed to all parameters and excelled as a model translator. He has really carved out a niche for himself in crafting and presenting a translation of the Mahabharata, which is the need of the century. The presentation of a family tree and also the Bharatavarsh (6th century BCE) reflects his insistence on historical authenticity.

I wish that Debroy emerges in the scholarly world of this country to present our past. The book takes us on a great journey with admirable ease.

Tripurasura’s Past life

Tripurasura’s Past life

Tripurasur was the son of Sage Gritsamad. One day the sage sneezed and from this was created a young boy who the Sage brought up as his own son. The sage taught the boy the Ganana Twam, Ganesh Mantra. Equipped with this mantra the boy meditated intensely on Lord Ganesh who ultimately blessed him. He was given three pura-s of gold silver and iron. Since he was the owner of these three pura-s he was given the name Tripur. Ganesh also bestowed on Tripur to be the most powerful, who none but Lord Shiva himself could destroy and after being destroyed by Lord Shiva he would attain mukti-salvation.

This boon made Tripur proud and he brought havoc in the entire world. He conquered the Nether world and then proceeded to takeover Heaven. He defeated Indra the king of heaven. His aggression made Lord Brahma hide in a lotus and Lord Vishnu in the Shirsagar. He soon also took over Lord Shiva’s Kailash Parvat and thus became the King of all the three worlds. The gods wondered on how to vanquish Tripurasur. Lord Narada told them that, since he had been granted a boon by Lord Ganesh himself it would be very difficult to vanquish him. He advised them to meditate on Lord Ganesh. Pleased Lord Ganesh decided to help the Gods.

Disguised as brahmin he visited Tripurasur and told him that he was a very enlightened Brahmin and could make for him three flying planes. Riding these he woud be able to go anywhere he wished within minutes. The planes could only be destroyed by Shiva. In return Lord Ganesh asked him to get him the statue of Chintamani which was at the Kailash Mountain. Lord Shiva refused to give the statue to Tripurasur’s messenger. The angry Tripurasur himself went to get the statue. A fierce battle started between him and Lord Shiva. He destroyed everything that belonged to the Lord Shiva who too retired to the Girikandar.

Lord Shiva too realized that he was unable to destroy Tripurasur because he had not paid his respects to Lord Ganesh. He recited the Shadaakshar Mantra to invoke Ganesh. On doing so from his mouth emerged Gajanan to grant Shiva a boon. Shiva continued his invocation of Ganesh who ultimately directed him on how Tripurasur could be killed. Lord Shiva was asked to recite the Sahastranam and then direct an arrow at the three pura-s of Tripurasur.

Lord Shiva followed these instructions and finally vanquished Tripurasur.

The place where Lord Shiva invoked Lord Ganesh he also created a temple for him. The town surrounding this temple was called Manipur. The village Ranjangaon is considered to be the place where Lord Shiva himself sought the blessings of Ganesh and ultimately destroyed Tripurasur.

Stone Inscriptions of Chola Times Found

KANCHEEPURAM, INDIA, May 22, 2010: Stone inscriptions dating back to the 10th and 11th century AD found recently in a nearby village have thrown light on the way records of properties were maintained during the Chola times. The stones were found last week during digging at the Sirukarumbur hamlet, tucked away from the main road 15 miles from here.

Sirukarumbu, then named Rajarajaseri, seems to have been a bustling and active land of cultivation,as many stone inscriptions were discovered scattered around the mound behind twin temples of the village. The twin temples, whose history is scarcely known, have the deities of Sundarakamakshi and Thripurandeswarar (forms of Lord Shiva).

The stones disclosed the many agreements reached between different groups of people for endowments and upkeep of the temple. The inscriptions also revealed that there were chola bronze images, consecrated and worshipped. The inscriptions were the way the people of Chola times maintained their solid land and property records, Dr. R. Nagaswami, well-known archaeologist and former director of state Archaeology department, told a news agency.

One of the stone documents recorded that a bronze Deity of Umaparameswari, consort of Lord Nataraja, was installed and worshipped by the villagers in the year 1013 AD, the 28th year of the reign of Rajaraja Chola-I, in the temple.

Shri Hudh Mata Trisandhaya ---by Raghunath Thakur

Shri Hudh Mata Trisandhaya

by Raghunath Thakur

The Northern most region of India, mostly covered by Himalayas, in which our State also falls, is known as the abode of many Gods -Goddess, Devi- Devatas, Reshis-Munis and Peers-Faqirs, and more particularly of Shiv-Parvati (Shiv Shakti). Wherever they stayed, lived and worshiped have become the Shrines a source of Spiritual powers, the ray of hope for the sufferers of the present age. In fact, India as a whole, is a land of Shrines belonging to different faiths which protect the places and the devotees and fulfill their unaccomplished desires and needs. God has kept His Symbolics everywhere to ameliorate the sufferings of the humanity through the spiritual powers these symbolics possess.

The newly created District Kishtwar, like other Districts, is also known as the land of Shrines and pilgrimages of different faiths, the most renowned are Sarthal Devi Shrine of Kali Mata, Chandi Mata Shrine in Machail Padder and Shrines of Shah -I - Asrar Sahib in proper Kishtwar and so many.

There is also a famous Holy Shrine, known as SHRI HUDH MAT ATRISINDYA MATA, located at a height of about 12000fts from the sea level near the famous BRAHAMA PEAK, said to be the abode of Lord Brahma in Nanth Nallah village of Dachhan, which is unknown to the devotees and the world. No mountaineer has so far dared to scale this Peak. One side of this Peak is always covered with snow and clouds.

About two-three kms away from the Holy Shrine, there flows TRISINDHY A stream (NADI) miraculously thrice a day from the top of a hill and stops naturally; which means that it is not a regular flowing Stream (Nadi) like other Streams (Nadi-Nallahs) and mostly remains dry. The volume of the water is so much that a water mill can easily function. There is neither any lake nor any pond on the top of the hill where from the water flows. "TRISANDHYA" means three times of worship as per Hindu Mythology i.e early morning, noon and evening prayers. "HUDH", by the passage of time, is the distorted form of "HUTT", a Hindi word, which means to offer in the shape of AHUTI (Offerings): To offer completely: Essential material for Havan: to Sacrifice oneself for Good cause. Since Mata Parvita Sacrificed her self for good cause i.e for the Honour and respect of Lord Shiva, her Husband and for herself also by jumping in the Havan Kund so she is called as Hudh Mata-Sati Mata

The astonishing fact is that water recedes flowing from the bottom of the Stream for two-three hours. After sometime it starts decreasing. After two-three hours even a single drop of water is not seen and those who are unlucky not to see it do not get such chance. At some occasions the water does not flow at all as per its routine.

In that case the pilgrims believe that TRISINDHY A MAT A is not pleased to give Darshan to them and they return sadly and disappointed without having a bath and those who get chance of bathing believe that their Yatra has been accomplished/accepted. It is a miraculous Darshan perhaps very very rare in the State or in the country. The Author had the opportunity of visiting the Shrine twice, Firstly in 1987 and Secondly in 2004.

In 1987, TRINSANDHAYA MATA was pleased to give Darshan as it flowed at its usual time and had a bath in the pious water. But in the year 2004, despite waiting for two days he had to return disappointed and empty handed without having any darshan of the flowing Nadhi and a pious bath as the TRISANDHAY A Nadhi did not flow as usual. However, he had the darshan of a live snake which is always seen near the Shrine or in the temple during yatra days. Pears of pigeons are also seen near the cave with whose darshans the devotees feel delighted.

Due to lack of Motorable road connectivity from Patrimhalla to Dachhan, the Shrine has remained unknown to the rest of the State/Country and the World. and does not find place in the Religious Tourist Map of the Country. The local administration has not done any positive thing for the exploration and publicity of this shrine. If the devotees come to know about this miraculous Shrine, they will certainly prefer to see this Shrine and perform this Yatra and have a dip in the pious waters of TRlSINDHYA NADI. The abundant tourist potentiality of the area has remained unnoticed and un exploited so far.

Pilgrims have to travel about 50/60 kms on foot to perform the Yatra. If Patimhalla Dacchan Motorable road is constructed, it can reduce the journey by 50% and the devotees shall have to travel only 25/30 kms on foot. We hope that there will be great rush of pilgrims to this Shrine also which can be a boon for the Tourist Industry of the State and this can bring the Shrine on the Religious Tourist Map of the Country. It can change the socio-economic condition not only of the inhabitants of the area but of the State as a whole.

700 years of occupation of India

Why there could not be technological transfer to us?

The general policy of most of the rulers during the 700 years of Muslim occupation of India was to systematically replace the fabric of Hindu society and culture with a Muslim culture. They tried to destroy Indian religions language, places of knowledge (universities e.g Nalanda and Taxshila were totally destroyed by Muslims).

They destroyed and desecrated places of thousands of temples including Somnath, Mathura, Benaras, Ayodhaya, Kannauj, Thaneswar and in other places.

There was wholesale slaughter of the monks and priests and innocent Hindus with the aim to wipe out the intellectual bedrock of the people they overran.

The Musliims could not subjugate India with ease and were never able to rule it entirely. There was a valiant and ceaseless struggle for independence by Hiindus to deliver India from Musliim tyranny. The Rajputs, Jats, Marathas and Sikhs led this struggle in North India.

In the South this struggle was embodied in the Vijayanagar Empire. This struggle culminated when the Marathas ended to the Musliim domination of India.

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Mahasamsthanam, Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham at Sringeri

In the 14th century, royal patronage to the Peetham began with the founding of the famous Vijayanagar empire under the divine guidance of the 12th Acharya, Jagadguru Sri Vidyaranya. The austerity of the Acharya influenced the rulers to such an extent that they began ruling in the name of the Acharya and granted the Peetham the rights over secular administration of the land.

At the rulers' request, the Acharya began conducting a Durbar during the Navaratri festival - an occasion deemed by the rulers to honour their Guru. Subsequently, the Acharya came to be known as the Karnataka Simhasana Prathisthapanacharya and the Peetham became a mighty institution - a Samsthanam and is known to this day as the Jagadguru Shankaracharya Mahasamsthanam, Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham at Sringeri.

Over the succeeding centuries, a number of empires and rulers including the Mysore Maharajahs including Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan, the Nizam of Hyderabad, the Peshwas and the Keladi rulers were drawn towards the Peetham and respected the Acharya as their Guru

One man's religion is another man's belly laugh

Robert A. Heinlein said

"One man's religion is another man's belly laugh."

Had it been true, with so many religions around the world, everybody in the world would be laughing.

"One man's religion is another man's nightmare"

is the world order due to two religious groups i.e., missionary evangelical Christianity and Jihadi islam. They divide the world into two distinct categories: themselves vs non-believers (called heathen or kafir). These two groups are extremist in nature and distinct from their mainline beliefs i.e., Christianity and Islam.

Hillary Clinton once said.

"In every religion, there are those who would drape themselves in the mantle of belief and faith only to distort it's most sacred teachings -- preaching intolerance and resorting to violence".

Civilized World has taken a serious note of Jihadi Islam. Though evangelical christians committed the some of the worst crimes unfolded in history, but escape the dragnet due to their excellent public relations skills.

earth was always referred to as bhogol by hindus.......showing thier understanding that earth was round.......

the more science progresses........

the more hindu epics which were treated as myths are being proven to be true and not myths......

darwins theory of evolution has proved that there could be some people who were still in intermediate development stage from monkeys to humans.......which fits in with treta yuga.....when ram existed.....which was long long time ago.....

astronomy is proving the exact dates of mahabharat......

deep sea diving has found out the city of dwarka at the exact location as mentioned in mahabharat....

satellite images have shown the photos of ram setu at exactly the same position as mentioned in ramayan........

unfortunately earth is not flat as mentioned in koran / bible......or earth is not only 5000 years old (before birth of christ) as mentioned in bible......all proven to be incorrect by science....

earth was always referred to as bhogol by hindus.......showing thier understanding that earth was round.......

Necessity knows no law and Naxalism is a result of this

I agree and concur with the views of great thinkers of IIFTIAN 84 .I have only this to add:

We have courts of law and not courts of justice. A nation whose  citizens are fearful of the Govt,
the Police and the Judiciary cannot be termed Free and democratic.

The fundamental right to justice as enshrined in the constitution has been reduced to a mockery.
It is only an eyewash and serves only the powerfuls and the haves.

The poor and slow delivery of justice is the single most reason for rampant corruption, naxalism
and other ills that plague our society. We are an over regulated country, we have laws for everything but no just enforcement. Extreme law is extreme injustice.

Necessity knows no law and Naxalism is a result of this .

From the third part of the Pratisarga Parva

From the third part of the Pratisarga Parva.

Shri Suta Gosvami said: In the dynasty of king Shalivahana, there were ten kings who went to the heavenly planets after ruling for over 500 years. Then gradually the morality declined on the earth. At that time Bhojaraja was the tenth of the kings on the earth. When he saw that the moral law of conduct was declining he went to conquer all the directions of his country with ten-thousand soldiers commanded by Kalidasa. He crossed the river Sindhu and conquered over the gandharas, mlecchas, shakas, kasmiris, naravas and sathas. Crossing the Sindhu, he conquered the ‘Mlecchas’ in Gandhar and the ‘Shath’ in Kashmir. King Bhoj grabbed their treasure and then punished them.

In the mean time, an illusory Mleccha named Mahamadh arrived with his preceptor (acharya) and his disciples to him. King Bhoj worshiped the idol of Lord Mahadev in the Marusthal (land of deserts). He bathed Lord Shiva with Ganges water and worshipped him in his mind with pancagavya (milk, ghee, yoghurt, cow dung, and cow urine) and sandalwood paste, etc. After he offered some prayers and pleased him. King Bhoj prayed to Lord Mahadev, “O Girijanath who stays in the marusthal (land of deserts), I offer my prayers to you. You have forced maya to destroy Tripurasur; but the Mlecchas are worshiping you. You are pure and sacchidanand swaroop. I am your sevak. I have come under your protection.”

Suta Goswami said: After hearing the king’s prayers, Lord Shiva said: Let the King go to Mahakaleshwar (Ujjain). O King, the land where you are standing, that is popular by the name of Bahik (Baltic), has been polluted by the Mlecchas. In that terrible country there no longer exists dharma. There was a mystic demon named Tripura(Tripurasura), whom I have already burnt to ashes, he has come again by the order of Bali. He has no origin but he achieved a benediction from me. His name is Mahamada  and his deeds are like that of a ghost.

Therefore, O king, you should not go to this land of the evil ghost. By my mercy your intelligence will be purified. Hearing this the king came back to his country and Mahamada came with them to the bank of the river Sindhu. He was expert in expanding illusion, so he said to the king very pleasingly: O great king, your god has become my servant. Just see, as he eats my remnants, so I will show you. The king became surprised when he saw this just before them. Then in anger Kalidasa rebuked Mahamada “O rascal, you have created an illusion to bewilder the king, I will kill you, you are the lowest…”

That city is known as their site of pilgrimage, a place which was Madina or free from intoxication. Having a form of a ghost (Bhuta), the expert illusionist Mahamada appeared at night in front of king Bhojaraja and said: O king, your religion is of course known as the best religion among all. Still I am going to establish a terrible and demoniac religion by the order of the Lord . The symptoms of my followers will be that they first of all will cut their genitals, have no shikha, but having beard, be wicked, make noise loudly and eat everything. They should eat animals without performing any rituals. This is my opinion. They will perform purificatory act with the musala or a pestle as you purify your things with kusha. Therefore, they will be known as the corrupters of religion. Thus the demoniac religion will be founded by me. After having heard all this the king came back to his palace and that ghost went back to his place.

The intelligent king, Bhojaraj established the language of Sanskrit in three varnas – the brahmanas, kshatriyas and vaisyas – and for the shudras he established prakrita-bhasha, the ordinary language spoken by common men. After ruling his kingdom for 50 years, he went to the heavenly planet. The moral laws established by him were honored even by the demigods. The arya-varta, the pious land is situated between Vindhyacala and Himacala or the mountains known as Vindhya and Himalaya. The Aryans reside there, but varna-sankaras reside on the lower part of Vindhya. The m people were kept on the other side of the river Sindhu.

On the island of Barbara, Tusha and many others also the followers of Isamsiha were also situated as they were managed by a king or demigods.

Missionary proselytization has been an integral part of the two main prophetic religions, Christianity and Islam

Missionary proselytization has been an integral part of the two main prophetic religions, Christianity and Islam, since early on in the formation of each. It is precisely the reason they are the two largest religions in the world.

It is also one of the darkest and most sinister aspects of religion and one of the main reasons so many people have a negative view of anything to do with religion.

The basis and justification for proselytization is an extremely narrow minded and arrogant assumption:

"My religion is the only right one, I have the only truth, all other religions are wrong, and it is my duty to get others to think and believe like me."

This belief has been used by Christians and Muslims for more than a millennium to justify the seduction, coercion, torture, and even murder of countless individuals in trying to get them to convert.

If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Thought for the
Day:

If God had a
refrigerator, your picture would be on
it.

If He had a wallet,
your photo would be in
it.

He sends you flowers
every spring.

He sends you a sunrise
every morning Face it, friend - He is crazy about
you!

Send this to every
'beautiful person' you wish to
bless.

God didn't promise
days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun
without rain, but He did promise strength for the
day, comfort for the tears, and light for the
way.

Read this line very
slowly and let it sink
in...

If God brings you to
it, He will bring you through
it.

I am sure you thanked Him today….

The Brick!!!

The Brick!!!
       PLEASE  Read It.

THE
BRICK

A young and successful
executive was travelling down a neighborhood street,
going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was
watching for kids darting out from between parked
cars and slowed down

when he thought he saw
something. As his car passed, no children appeared.
Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door!
He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to
the spot where the brick had been thrown. The angry
driver

then jumped out of the
car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up
against

a parked car shouting,
'What was that all about and who are you? Just what
the heck are you doing? That's a new car and that
brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why
did you do it?' The young boy was apologetic.
'Please, mister...please, I'm sorry but I didn't
know what else to do,' He pleaded. 'I threw the
brick because no one else would stop...' With tears
dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth
pointed to a spot just around a parked car. 'It's my
brother, 'he said 'He rolled off the curb and fell
out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him
up.'

Now sobbing, the boy
asked the stunned executive, 'Would you please help
me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and
he's too heavy for me.'

Moved beyond words,
the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling
lump in his throat.. He hurriedly lifted the
handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took
out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh
scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything
was going to be okay. 'Thank you and may God bless
you,' the grateful child told the stranger. Too
shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy!
push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk
toward their home..

It was a long, slow
walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very
noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair
the dented side door. He kept the dent there to
remind him of this message: 'Don't go through life
so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to
get your attention!' God whispers in our souls and
speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have
time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's
our choice to listen or
not.

Francis Bacon says so....

"If a man will begin with certainties, he shall end in doubts; but if he will be content to begin with doubts he shall end in certainties" - Francis Bacon (1561-1626)

Ayyappa Temple in Kavarati (Lakshadweep) by JGN

by JGN

I will tell you an actual incident narrated to me by one of my sub-ordinate. He had gone to Kavarati (Lakshadweep) for a job connected with a Defence Project. The inhabitants of Kavaratti are all Musliims except for the Govt employees (and a few employees of Private Companies, specially on Govt work). Special Permits are required for any one to visit any place in Lakshadweep.

As is usual with Keralites, some of the Govt employees decided to construct a small Ayyappa Temple there but the Musliims were furious about the same. One intolerant guy tried to demolish the same by crashing a Jeep into the building in cinema style. He was not able to destroy the temple but he got paralysed waist down in the process.

After that the Musliims themselves came forward an completed the construction of the temple and they are now more devoted to Ayyappa than the Govt employees from Kerala!!

CHRISTIAN CASTEISM: ONLY IN INDIA: A BRAHMIN GROOM FOR A CATHOLIC BRIDE

CHRISTIAN CASTEISM: ONLY IN INDIA: A BRAHMIN GROOM FOR A CATHOLIC BRIDE

MUMBAI: When Winnie D'Souza wanted to marry her daughter into a ‘decent' family, she scanned the matrimonial columns of Catholic periodicals in Panaji. After shortlisting a few young men, D'Souza made inquiries about their caste. She wanted her daughter to marry a Brahmin. Most Catholic publications do not list caste categories as they did 20 years ago, but casteism has not disappeared among Christians. It has merely become more subtle.

Unlike Bihar, Orissa and the North-East, which have large tribal Christian populations, the Christians of Goa, Kerala and Tamil Nadu remain in thrall to the caste categories of their Hindu ancestors.

Father Augustine Kanjamala, a theologian in Mumbai, has researched caste among Christians. Caste exists in different forms in various Christian communities, he says. In Kerala the Christians admitted to the faith almost 2,000 years ago are called Syrian Christians. They are better off than Latin Christians, who are mainly from poorer communities. Syrian Christians and Latin Christians do not inter-marry. They even have different institutions to train their priests.

In Goa, Christians belonging to Brahmin or Charado (Kshatriya) castes are more privileged than the others. They dominate Church institutions and activities. Father Augustine says that in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, Dalit Christians are not given much access to Church festivities. Sometimes they are reduced to having a separate church. Two decades ago, the graveyards had separate sections for upper and lower castes. This is changing because some progressive priests have challenged the iniquitous system.

"In Mangalore, a few families of Dalit Christians have returned to Hinduism as they felt humiliated living among Christians who discriminated against them,” says Father Augustine. "Caste will not die out in the Church easily, but in cities like Mumbai, the urban situation has led to the breaking down of barriers of caste".

KRISHNA EXISTS: Faith is person dependent by nilesh singh

Faith is always person dependent and This will always be a subject for debate for years & centuries..

Faith is person dependent by nilesh singh

A. Jesus, Allah, Rama, krishna or any other so called god only exist of you have faith in it or else they are just a snap or scripture, so I belive that yes there was a civilization, there was a smart race which exist and they were very much aware of what will be tomorow and this is quite evident from the current practicies of Indian Society be it people who have converted themselves from Hindu to Muslims, Hindu to Christian or any other faith but their basic practice is same..

B. Evidence from Ayurveda/Yoga which is still not accepted by many scintists/ researchers that this could also be an alternative which is primarly because we have grown up with a psyche which teaches us "money is the only demoniation which equated your intellect" but the baisc foundation of the Indian culture was intelect is the only way but when ever we talk on the issue most of us start refering to India after 300 BC and they forget the past where you will find boundles of refrence on Astro science, natural science, Management etc.

Also its not congres who is responsible or RSS?BJP are custodians after independence..we all Know India was week and it was political compulsion to follow "Western Hegomony" or else we would have branded as North Korea or USSR or former germany.

So who so ever followed the path was also right.BUT ITS PITTY THAT TODAY WEST SAYS KRISHNA EXISTS THEN WE ALL SAY YES

Lord Krishna Existed

Lord Krishna Existed
by SHREYA

The Vrishni Clan to which Sri Krishna belonged still exists with people. European people write Kushan as foreigners, but Kushan were the people who went to Asia/Europe during internal war among Yaduvanshis in Dwarika, and then some of them came back.

Kushan is modified form of Krishna. Their clan from Mid Asia is verified to Yaduvanshis. The rulers of great Bharatpur Jat Empire of 17th Century which had entire Haryana, and western UP, belong to Lord Krishna's clan (Vrishni).

All Mahabharat ruling clans still exists among Jats (Yaduvanshis). For exampple Yodhey of Yudhisthir, Dhillon of Karn, Pandava, Panchal, Kuru, Puru etc.

As per Mahabharat Lord Krishna created a group called GYAT, which became known as Jat over a period of time. The clans which are told to be part of it still exists in Jat community in Haryan/Punjab. These clans and their existence is traceable in history of Iran/Iraq/Saudi Arab, Rome and the Buddhist scriptures of before Christ.

All noted historians has confirmed about the existence of Lord Krishna, and their analysis is very close to the one discovered by Pandit now. Most historians have indicated 2500Bc to 3000BC. During recent PhD Thesis on Bharatpur rulers, they have counted 150 generations since Lord Krishna till Maharaja Surajmal with most of the names.

This again makes it around 3000 BC on an average generation time. Southern side people might doubt it as they do not see Mahabharat time's clans there. But in north is is everyday fact.

The glory of India & Hinduism--Annie Besant

After a study of some forty years and more of the great religions of the world, I find none so perfect, none so scientific, none so philosophic, and none so spiritual as the great religion known by the name of Hinduism. The more you know it, the more you will love it; the more you try to understand it, the more deeply you will value it.

Make no mistake; without Hinduism, India has no future. Hinduism is the soil into which India's roots are struck, and torn of that she will inevitably wither, as a tree torn out from its place. Many are the religions and many are the races flourishing in India, but none of them stretches back into the far dawn of her past, nor are they necessary for her endurance as a nation.

Everyone might pass away as they came and India would still remain. But let Hinduism vanish and what is she? A geographical expression of the past, a dim memory of a perished glory, her literature, her art, her monuments, all have Hindudom written across them. And if Hindus do not maintain Hinduism, who shall save it? If India's own children do not cling to her faith, who shall guard it? India alone can save India, and India and Hinduism are one.

Theory & Counter Theory: Jesus the son of krishna (GOD) came to india

Jesus the son of krishna (GOD) came to india.
by inder ratra

did jesus studied in india at taxila for 13 years.these are those 13 lost years for which there is no record in west.

did he survived crucifiacation and escaped.

did he escaped to india.

did he lived here peacefully ,roaming from cashmir , punjab to banaras.

does his mothers tomb is in murre town of punjab.town named after name of mary.

does he died in india at ripe age of 82 and his tomb is in sirinagar.

does his teaching and rituals resemble ditto to bhudism prevelent at that time.

kresten in his book "jesus died in india" proves these points with facts and proofs leaving no doubts.

plus greeks since time of alexender used to and fro on silk route.so jesus had no problem traveling to india two times.

Dear Inder,

You're asking very pointed questions, good ones. Let me try to explain few things. First of all let us not claim that Jesus was in India theory. It has lot of holes.

1) Jesus studied in Taxila. In fact, Jesus never went to any organized schooling and it is a very much a fact from within and outside Biblical literatures. That was one of the marvel point for all his audiences that without schooling, how come this guy is so brilliant.

2) His death was corroborated by several proofs by Romans as well as non-Romans. In fact, his mysterious appearances inside a closed rooms was one of the most astonishing events.

3) His mother came to India, leaving her 4/5 kids, you must be joking. In fact, couple of his brothers were very much involved in preaching Jesus' teachings and became martyr.

4) His teachings are similar to Budhists can be discussed but one of the biggest theological difference is idol worshiping which Jesus preached against.

I understand that we Indians try to take credit for everything good around the world but despite all our gifts to the world, we should be very careful in our claims. Because if we do it too often without established facts then we loose credibility.

Strong exception to the reference to Radha and Krishna in your judgment relating to live-in relationships

We the undersigned take a strong exception to the reference to Radha and Krishna in your judgment relating to live-in relationships. We applaud your decision to rule in favour of the petitioner who was being victimized for speaking her mind. But we strongly protest the following statement as reported in the media: “Drawing an analogy from the Hindu mythology, even Lord Krishna and Radha lived together.”

We are utterly flabbergasted at the misuse of Radha-Krishna relationship in support of your techno-legal position. What was the need for such a reference? The case would have stood by itself on merit based on liberal democratic values within the framework of the Indian constitution.

It is your mischaracterization of the Radha-Krishna relationship that amounts to a brutal assault on the Hindu traditions and culture, exacerbated by the fact that you are the highest judicial authority in the country. By most traditions, and as per Bhagvada Purana, Shri Krishna lived in Vrndavan in his early childhood. His raas-leela with the gopis refers to this period. At ten (10) years of age he leaves Vrndavan for education and then returns to Mathura, not to Vrndavan. It would be absurd to take this as a live-in relationship as the term is understood in modern parlance.

To give you the benefit of the doubt, let us assume for a moment that the actual details of Sri Krishna’s early childhood are cloudy. The question remains whether it was proper to equate Radha-Krishna relationships with the live-in relationships that exist today. A comparative analysis is necessary to arrive at a concise conclusion.

Humans invented the institution of marriage to fulfill the basic purpose of human existence. This institution has survived tribulations of time and across all cultures of the world. The excessive materialistic culture of West with its non-responsible unfettered individualism as the social driver, led to the break-down of the family structure, resulting in high divorce rates, teen-pregnancies, child abandonment, along with the so-called live-in relationships. As an inarticulate backlash against such unconventional social arrangements, the conservatives all over the world have vilified the practitioners of alternate lifestyles.

The conservative backlash and vilification is to be unambiguously condemned. From a techno-legal standpoint the state cannot mandate and enforce social responsibility and good conduct, but also cannot allow the conservatives to victimize and persecute the practitioners of alternate lifestyles. Hence the need for adjudication related only to the victimization aspect from a competent legal authority. Where does Radha-Krishna relationship fit into this equation?

As per the Hindu tradition, the relationship between Radha and Krishna symbolizes cosmic love. It takes long years of spiritual practice and sadhana to unravel the mysticism of this cosmic love. The same cosmic love micro-manifests itself in numerous ways all around us — when one falls in love with a flower; or a mother’s love for her child; or when a cow lovingly feeds her calf.

The macro-manifestation of Radha-Krishna love that is metaphorically represented by their raas-leela is the creation and sustenance of the Universe itself – the music of the flow of the rivers, and the creation of new stars and galaxies; and much more. The same cosmic love was experienced by Meera by her unequivocal devotion to Shri Krishna. Would you characterize Meera and Krishna relationship as also sexual?

The problem with “modern” types is that they evaluate cultural history and traditions by their faulty Western-inspired materialistic lenses, where everything is about bodily fulfillment. Where the parameters of human existence is limited to filling the stomach with food, numbing the senses with alcohol, the physical act of obtaining an orgasm, and then turning over and trying to get some sleep. Basically just live the life of an animal. With such parameters it is difficult to understand Radha-Krishna relationship. This is the precise reason you should have left Radha and Krishna alone in your adjudication process.

To remediate your indiscretions, we demand an apology or a note of regret for misusing the Radha-Krishna tradition.

Sincerely,
The Undersigned

FOR ALL CAR OWNERS/IN HIGH TEMPRATURE COUNTRIES: Please do NOT turn on A/C as soon as you enter the car

FOR ALL CAR OWNERS/IN  HIGH TEMPRATURE COUNTRIES
TAKE MORE CARE + PLS PASS MESSAGE TO YOUR FREINDS,RELATIVES....................

My new car's booklet specifically states that one should open car windows for 5 minutes + to air the car before switching on the Air Condition I wondered why.

No wonder more folks are dying from cancer than  ever before. We wonder where this stuff comes  from but here is an example that explains a lot  of the cancer causing incidents.  Hmmm.  Many people are in their cars first  thing in the morning and the last thing at night, 7 days a  week. As I read this, it makes me feel guilty and ill.  Please pass this on to as many people as possible. Guess its not too late to make some  changes

Car A/C (Air Conditioning) MUST READ!!!

Please do NOT turn on A/C as soon as you enter the car. Open the  windows after you enter your car and turn ON the AC after a couple of minutes.
Here's why:

According to a research, the car dashboard, sofa, air freshener emit  Benzene, a Cancer causing toxin (carcinogen -   take time to observe the smell of heated plastic  in your car).
In addition to causing cancer, Benzene poisons your bones, causes anemia and reduces white   blood cells.

Prolonged exposure will cause Leukemia, increasing the risk of cancer.

Can also cause miscarriage.

Acceptable Benzene level indoors is 50 mg per     sq. Ft. A car parked indoors with windows closed  will contain 400-800 mg of Benzene.

If parked outdoors under the sun at a temperature above 60 degrees F, the Benzene  level goes up to 2000-4000 mg, 40 times the acceptable level.

People who get into the car, keeping windows   closed will inevitably inhale, i n quick   succession, excessive amounts of the toxin.

Benzene is a toxin that affects your kidney and  liver.. What's worse, it is extremely difficult  for your body to expel this toxic stuff.

So friends, please open the windows and door of   your car - give time for interior to air out  -dispel the 20deadly stuff - before you enter.

                                                                       Thought:

A Visit to Heaven: Have a good day, count your blessings.

subject A Visit to Heaven

This is one of the nicest e-mails I have seen and is so true:

I dreamt that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels.

My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, 'This Is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to GOD said in prayer are Received..'

I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world..

Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section.

The angel then said to me, 'This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them.'

I noticed again how busy it was there. There were many angels working hard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged for delivery to Earth

Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the Door of a very small station To my great surprise, only one angel was Seated there, idly doing nothing. 'This is the Acknowledgment Section,' My angel friend quietly admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed 'How Is it that there is no work going on here?' I asked.

'So sad,' the angel sighed. 'After people receive the blessings that they asked For, very few send back acknowledgments .'

'How does one acknowledge GOD's blessings?' I asked.

'Simple,' the angel answered. Just say, 'Thank you, LORD.'

'What blessings should they acknowledge?' I asked.

'If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy .'

'And if you get this on your own computer, you are part of the 1% in the world who has that opportunity.'

Also ......

' If you woke up this morning with more health than illness ... You are more blessed than the many who will not even survive this day .'

'If you have never experienced the fear in battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation .. You are ahead of 700 million people in the world.'

'If your parents are still alive and still married ...you are very rare .'

'If you can hold your head up and smile, you are not the norm, you're unique to all those in doubt and despair.'

Ok, what now? How can I start?

If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you as very special and you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world who cannot read at all.

Have a good day, count your blessings, and if you want, pass this along to remind everyone else how blessed we all are.

Salutation to daughters of King Dahir who avenged the insulting defeat of Sindh by killing Mohammad Bin Qasim

Valiant Daughters of King Dahir of Sindh province

Daughters of King Dahir: ‘For thousands of years no one even dared to look at Bharat with a view to conquer it. But in 711 AD there was an aggressive and deadly attack on Sindh province. At this time, Sindh was ruled by Dahir Raja. The king was killed. The Queen performed ‘Johar’ and ended her life. The palace was destroyed. The attackers were surely not braver than us. Maybe they had better weapons, but the terror which they created had no equal. Armed warriors entered the small towns and villages. Earlier battles were fought on the battlefield.

Warriors fought against warriors. However these aggressive and cruel warriors killed innocent women, children and old people who were in their houses. They destroyed temples and the idols residing in the temples. They destroyed schools. They raped young women. The way they treated those who were their victims, was utterly cruel. That man can be so cruel was unprecedented and unknown to Bharatiya culture. This kind of demonic aggression left the entire society afraid and terrified. As a result the aggressors found literally no opposition.

In addition, since there was excessive adherence to the concept of non violence, even the army too was reluctant to fight. Sindh was defeated. Blood sucking, man-eating demons were dancing on the blood filled land and creating a ruckus.

In this way unfavourable anti-Hindu youth entered the western boundary of Bharat. In these adverse circumstances, our good qualities worked against us as they turned out to be our failings.’ – Prof. S. G. Shevde (Bharatiya Sanskruti, Page Nos. 35 & 36)

Salutation to daughters of King Dahir who avenged the insulting defeat of Sindh by killing Mohammad Bin Qasim !:

‘Finally the Hindu kingdom of Dahir was destroyed. He had two daughters, Suryadevi and Parimaladevi who were sent to Baghdad as a gift for the Khalif. Our culture is one which treats a woman as a mother and here was another culture, which sent girls to their Dharma Guru for appeasement and enjoyment, which was a disgrace to mankind ! But both daughters of Dahir were very brave. They gained the confidence of the Khalif and he began to trust them.

As they were given as gifts to Khalif, they were unable to prevent physical violation of their bodies but just see what they did do! They sent a letter to Mohammad Bin Qasim’s generals bearing the stamp and signature of the Khalif. The letter contained an order – ‘Put Mohammad in a leather bag, seal the bag and send it here’. The order was from the Khalif. The generals followed the order word to word; they put Mohammad alive in a letter bag, sealed the bag and sent it to Baghdad on a ship. When the ship reached Baghdad after 10-12 days, Mohammad Bin Qasim’s corpse had decayed to such an extent that worms had begun to devour the corpse. The decaying smell was unbearable.

The Khalif investigated as to ‘Why was he sent to him like this?’ The two girls then told the Khalif, “We sent a letter bearing your signature and stamp. We have taken revenge on the demon who inflicted untold misery in our kingdom. We have done this. We feel proud of what we have done. We have fulfilled our national duty. We are ready to face any consequences for this action.”

An enraged Khalif tied the hair of the two girls to the tails of horses and made the horses run throughout Baghdad. The girls were being kicked by the horses and their bodies were being stripped of its skin in the process. Their hair was being pulled and their heads were dashing against the knees of horses.

Except for the bloodied heads, both bodies were stripped and cut into pieces and were being dropped on the road. But the two girls, who were proud of having avenged the insult to their kingdom, did not have a single tear in their eyes as they embraced martyrdom. (When Bharat gained independence, statues of these two girls should have been erected on the Sindh border.)’ – Prof. S. G. Shevde

King Vikramaditya ruled over Ujjain- Nine Gems of his Cabinet

Hindu Dharma has a glorious past of Righteous kings who personified fearlessness and valour. Hindu kings were devoted to Righteousness and were always keen on the all round progress of their people. As per the saying ‘Raja Kalasya Karanam’ meaning the king himself is responsible for the times, the kings abided by Righteousness and hence their people were also happy, prosperous and of good moral conduct. The kings would rule under the direction of their Guru. They would patronise many artists and would wholeheartedly support the arts. They would never attack others except in self defence even though they were capable of conquering the entire planet on the basis of spiritual power. Similarly in the later part of their life they would hand over the reins of their kingdom to their heir and would perform spiritual practice further by voluntary acceptance of Vanaprasthasrhram.

The remembrance of such great kings who have created the glorious history of Hindus is an incessant source of inspiration. Every incident in the life of these great heroes is a witness to their brilliant capability. Some special events in the lives of these bright kings have been given ahead to awaken the extinct pride in the minds of Hindus about their religion, nation and culture and also to create a new urge and enthusiasm in them to defend their religion, nation and culture. It is our prayer at the feet of God that Hindus should ready themselves for any type of assault against them by taking a cue from this history.

King Vikramaditya
King Vikramaditya ruled over Ujjain. In his kingdom, all law and order arrangements were based on the Dharmashastras and were excellent. In order to ensure ideal rule, in his cabinet of ministers he had nine important ministers who were truly gems.

His kingdom extended up to Arabastan and he was a generous king who always looked after the welfare of his people. Vikramaditya’s father was Mahendradutt, mother was Soumyadarshana and brother was Barthuhari. Vikramaditya had defeated the rulers of Arabastan and had added that region into his kingdom. This victory is beautifully described in a poem by “Barham Bin Soi”. Of the sixty years that Vikramaditya ruled, he spent twenty five years in wars.

He was an ideal ruler who always ensured that everyone benefitted from his decisions. He was a generous ruler who always thought of the welfare of his people and ruled accordingly. Even though he was a follower of the Shaiva religion, he always treated all religions with equal respect. In his cabinet, his nine gems were Dhanvantri, Shapanak, Amar Singh Shanku, Vetal Bhatt, Kharpar, Kalidas, Varahmihir and Varruchi.

- Pujya Parshram Madhav Pande Maharaj, Akola

Nine Gems of his Cabinet
1. Kalidas: Author of the great epic, ‘Shakuntala’, great poet, dramatist and the most prominent scholar of Sanskrit language.
2. Amarnath: Author of ‘Sanskrit Amarkosh’
3. Shapanak: Prominent Astrologist who had achieved mastery in Astrology.
4. Dhanvantri: A Doctor who had achieved mastery in the science of medicine; one who was an expert in diagnosis and one who could prescribe different treatments for a single disease.
5. Varruchi: Expert Linguist and an expert in Grammar
6. Varahmihir: Author of World famous epic, ‘Bruhatsahita’ and mastery in Astrology.
7. Ghatakpar: Expert in sculpture and architecture.
8. Shanku: Expert in Geography (This name is even well known today in the field of geography)
9. Vetalbhadra : Expert in black magic & tantric sciences

This is an example of how the Bharatiya rule was complete in all respects with peace and prosperity existing everywhere in the kingdom when there were no external attacks.

THE GREAT CHARMINAR OF HYDERABAD symbolizes secularism

The Great CHARMINAR of Hyderabad-known to everyone -400yrs old legacy.

Yes, this great structure was built by Nizams, as per VAASTHU (people may try to differ- let them verify records) to ward off plague in Hyderabad then.

But all of us people take pride in this and the prayer hall in the top floor, conveniently ignoring, that the temple of Kaali, was first built (facing Unani Hospital abetting street), and then only the structure was completed.

So all these misguided youth think, that islam is superior- so be it-, but in no way you are as educated as the Nizams. Surprisingly Nizams had Sri Vaishnavite priests to do their duties in temples, and were providing the means. Idiots should realize. Any doubts-visit Charminar and see for yourself. This is why I say that all these misguided brothers of mine should shun hatred, follow your faith strictly-with total faith-and see reason in others also.

God Exists-Recorded evidence-5-Hyderabad

This is from Hyderabad, and about the Nawab of Hyderabad TAANISHA.The person whose actually name is Gopanna (now famous as Ramdoss, whose songs are very famous in Carnatic Music), who is the nephew of Akkanna and Maadanna, advisors and ministers of Nawab’s court, who got the job of Tehsildaar for the tehsil of Nelakondapalli (Khammam Dist-Andhra). His house is still there, for verification.

BHADRACHALLAM is the place where Ram temple is there, (which falls under his jurisdiction then). The region which was drought hit and the farmers were unable to pay taxes-he waived the tax(Sist in telugu). Prayers did get bountiful of rain, and good harvest. Then he has sent a letter to the Taanisha Saheb, that the funds collected this year due to god’s grace may pl be utilized for construction of the temple(which was housing lord Ram under thatched roof under protection of a tribal woman-Tammala Dammakka)

As the court politics go, the letter was torn into pieces by Nizam’s brother in law, who lost the post to Ramdoss. No answer from the Nawab, was taken as yes by this simpleton, and he spent the govt. revenue for renovation of this temple. Then the matter was reported to Taanisha, and Ramdoss was summoned to Hyderabad for explanation. When his explanation that he wrote to Nawab, could not be proved(letter destroyed by vested interests), he was put into jail, and suffered a lot for 14 days.

It so happened that Lord Ram and Lakshman visited Tanisha in the night of 14th day and paid all the dues attributed to Ramdoss in Gold Mohris, saying that they were servants of Ramdoss and were sent by him to clear the dues(those days coins). Tanisha next day goes to the prison to liberate Ramdoss, having cleared the dues, and Ramdoss says I have never paid a penny, then only both realize that those two were Raam and Lakshman.

Taanisha realizes his mistake, orders enquiry, and punishes his own brother in law, and liberates Ramdoss, who wpent his life thereafter in the temple with his family.

With this episode, the Taanisha was so overwhelmed that the god he prayed has given darshan to him in different form, and made a royal decree that the Government should Dutifully offer Talambraalu (the turmeric coated rice-known as Akshata to Hindus) to the temple(but with pearls instead of rice-measuring one KUNCHAM-those days Andhra measurement-equal to abt 16 KG.

Now that the Hyderabad Samsthan is the Government of Andhra, the Chief Minister is bound to carry the silk attires for the deities, and the pearls on his head and offer there in the temple during Sri Ram Navami-when the Kalyanotsavam is performed, and anyone and everyone can watch this on Television (including Doordarshan) on Sri Ram Navami , when this is performed during noon time.

DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE:

That the Government is sending its CM to discharge duty of royal decree, is sufficient, but then gazette is available. Request Government of AP.

A FEW QUESTIONS?
1. Why was Ramdass in Jail for 14 days, being flogged etc., - it was due to his sin of having kept a parrot in cage for 14 days in his earlier Janma.

2. How to believe all this?
a) All visitors and tourists to Hyderabad visit Golconda fort. The Jail where Ramdoss was kept a prisoner, is still there

b) The Jewels made by Ramdoss to Lord Ram and family are still available for viwing-listed by himself in his songs (refer Ikshwaaku Kula thilaka song)

i) Kalki Thurai-the ornament in the crown of lord Ram
ii) Pachchala Pathakam-done for Seetha Devi
iii) Bangaru Molathaadu(worn around waist)- for Lakshman etc., etc.,
and most importantly the dues paid back by Ram and Lakshman to Taanisha, was in the form of Maadas(golden coins). Out of them TWO are still available. One is worn to the idol in a chain, and the other in the custody of the temple in State Bank of India. One can take the pain of visiting Hyderabad and Bhadrachalam-if they are sincere in their quest.
