Jupiter (Guru):

For Jupiter or Guru related problems and during the Dasha or AntarDasha of Jupiter:

1. Worship Lord Shiva.

2. Recite Shri Rudram.

3. Japa of the Guru Moola Mantra:

Om graam greem groum sah gurave namah,

Jap to be done 19000 times in 40 days with Kesar, Sandal and yellow flowers.

4. Recite the Guru Stotra:
Devanam cha rishinam cha gurum kaanchan sannibhaam

Buddhi bhutam trilokesham tam namaami brihaspatim.

5. Donate: Saffron or Turmeric, sugar, banana, yellow clothes, salt, foods, sweets, turmeric, yellow flowers etc. on every Thursday. Offering banana to beggars or crows. Offering a yellow colored sweet to crows. Feeding should be done to Brahmins (or poor people) with curd and rice.

6. Fasting to be done on Thursday. Go to Sai Baba Temple every Thursday.

7. Pooja: Rudrabhishekam.

8. Service to Brahmins, Teachers, Priests etc.

9. Watering a Peeple tree every day except Sundays or on only Thursdays.

10. Rudraksha: Wear a 5 Mukhi Rudraksha.

11. Wear Gemstone related to Jupiter i.e. Yellow Sapphire.

12. Recite 11th chapter of Sundra kanda from Valmiki Ramayana.
