I was baptised as a Christian (Protestant) & my wife & children are Catholics but we belong to the Vedic Culture, the Main-Trunk (Basis/source) of all Cultures & Religions/Sciences as well!
We teach our children in the Religion we are born because God can be found in every good Religion; but at the same Time we are giving Respect to all other Religions.
They are different ways reaching finally to the same Truth:

The Maha-Shivaratri Festival or the 'The Night of Shiva' is celebrated with devotion and Pujas (Vedic performances to offer gifts to the Guru or the Dewatas) in honour of Lord Shiva, one of the Dewatas of Vedic Trinity, the 3 Gunas, the destroyer of Ignorance.

Maha-Shivaratri falls on the moonless 14th night of the new moon in the Vedic month of Phalgun, which corresponds to the month of February - March in Western Calendar.

Celebrating the festival of Shivaratri devotees observe day and night fast and perform ritual worship of Shiva Lingam to appease Lord Shiva.

As far as my limited Hindi allows, the song mentions that Shri Amarnathji is visiting a Kutya (house) in Holland! And the Kutya is shown to be Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's house in MERU, Holland.

yes indeed, infront of Maharishis Room, where He used to live a ice-Shiva Lingam was created by itself. For me Maharishi was a Incarnation of Lord Mahesh.
